Park Time

Um. I did what I was repeatedly told to not do.

I was "too much fun" the first week. Now, these kids don't seem to be impressed unless swimming is involved. That's probably not a fair assessment. They probably find Texas the hottest place they have been and feel they "MUST HAVE A POOL!"

I took them to a fantastic park yesterday and {after an hour or so} they sat. I've never seen them sit like that. Iceman wanted to go swimming or go home. Sunshine was quiet... like normal.

 

We even linked up Shelia's host child! She lives in the same city as they do, but she's 7 years old. She's quite the talker, like Iceman. In fact, our chaperone told me that Iceman talked the entire flight and told Shelia that her host daughter talked the entire flight.  {That poor chaperone!}

And I commend joy, for man has nothing better under the sun but to eat and drink and be joyful, for this will go with him in his toil through the days of his life that God has given him under the sun. Ecclesiastes 8:15
