Hope for the Hopeless... Rolls for the Roll-less

Fantastic news! We found a dentist who has done missionary work in Mexico, Guatemala and Haiti, and who was not "scared" of our host kids' mouths! He gave us hope today! And, he has a fun office where the kids got to play games as they waited.

The last dentist actually said to us (regarding Iceman), "At least he has hope."

That's not something you want to hear about your daughter... even if she's only your daughter for a summer. So, this new dentist was a breath of fresh air!

We will be able to get some of their major work done before they go back. He's even willing to come in on his days off to help us. So grateful!! Thanks for praying with us.

In other news... I think Sunshine gained a couple pounds, too! It might be because she has found recipe magazines around here and wants us to try them all! She has this thing for dinner rolls. She acts giddy when she sees pictures of dinner rolls. She LOVES them.
She writes her name on the picture and then hands it to me. It's pretty funny.

These kids are hilarious. They can make anyone smile. What a blessing they are!

A joyful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones. Proverbs 17:22
