Exploring Six

It's Monday morning, which means it's time to call their foster mom and their chaperone. It's time for the emotions to feel like a blender is processing them throughout my belly. It's time for the emotional roller coaster of "will they" and "won't they".

I'm hoping it's easier than last week was. I'm too tired to even write out the emotions I'm feeling right now.

We love these kids. We want the best for these kids.

I'll just add in some pictures from our weekend explorations.

Our family of 6 had a great weekend. The lake was rising so rapidly that we had to be more creative than our normal swim in the watering hole (now filled with debris and fire-ant-covered sticks). We took a very nice, long boat ride on our little fishing boat that has a 550 pound limit (yeah...6 people... we hoped that 550 warning was a suggestion to help it go its fastest, and it was... thankfully.)

This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it. Psalm 118:24
