We were trying to find a time to Skype at least once a week, so it will probably be around 6am on the weekends. We'll take it!
We miss them terribly. Today, we Skyped for nearly an hour. Little Lulu just hung out there, watching and smiling. She is absolutely precious.
Their foster mom is very open about the adoption. She mentioned it in front of all the kids (all 9 orphans who live in the home). She said that she has done the paperwork on her end. She told me she took them to the doctor and that "they are ready to be adopted". She literally said {in front of them} that she signed the papers that said she didn't want them. She meant that she didn't want to adopt them. She clarified that.
We are so grateful to have such an incredible helper on that end. Their foster mom is wonderful!
We are counting the days. Of course, we're trekking through these mountains of paperwork and appointments. Please pray that this can go very quickly and that we can come up with the funds. We have been sooooooooooooooo blessed with our friends purchasing shirts for our first fundraiser! Life is good.

Here's our shirt fundraiser: www.booster.com/latviancoopers
IT ENDS ON SUNDAY.
It's the first time we're mentioning their country in this blog. To be honest, I've been reading a TON of blogs and people have mentioned the country, the town, the orphan court, the children's names, etc. It's been good reading for me! I'm learning the ins and outs of Latvia. We won't be putting their names out in the "Interwebs", but we feel we will now be able to document our trips to Latvia for all our friends.
Yay.
Please pray for my 3 kids who are across the world. Right now. Paldies {that means "thank you" in Latvian}
... and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior... Luke 1:47
