Babysitting

Today, I am reminded that we are blessed. We have another ½ day appointment with Dr. Champagne and it’s Spring Break. What does that mean? Slim babysitting options. Or, in our case, no babysitting options. Ray had to take off work today because this appointment falls in the middle of his 10 hour work day. He is babysitting Zane. I am saddened that Ray had to use one of his vacation days to merely babysit, but I feel so blessed that he has a job that he can take time off to help.

This made me think of all the families out there who don’t have the hundreds or thousands of dollars to have their children tested and helped, much less have babysitting options. Dr. C.’s office is very quiet. You can’t have any background noise during the tests and my 3 year old is a barrel of background noise!
